Adviser to Maliki: Assessment of Ministers will not be affected by political pressure

Baghdad, June 7 (Rn) – An adviser to Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki Tuesday that the evaluation of Ministers on the length of time allocated to improve their performance, will not be affected by political pressure.

Iraq has seen after the formation of his government is completed a few months, a series of protests demanding reforms and provide opportunities for the unemployed in the country floats on a lake of oil.

Ali al-Moussawi, a media adviser to Maliki, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) “There will be no political influence or pressure in the evaluation process.”

He pointed to al-Moussawi said “the Committee in charge of evaluating the work of ministries, and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki Sevshan area and the opportunity for ministers to present their work to the citizens and the President of the Government and have made achievements.”

He called on Iraqi bloggers on social networking sites, especially “Facebook” to demonstrate after the deadline set by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to improve the performance of his government, which will expire after hours, and many of them say that time has achieved.

Musawi said that the verdict on the performance of ministries and ministers will be through the Committee which was formed about it, explaining that all reports will be posted publicly on opinion and on a daily basis.

Al-Maliki announced that he will stay and will be announced after 100 days of that date, the successes or failures of each minister.

It is likely, analysts said the Maliki’s calls for a reshuffle in the ministries in an attempt to avert the anger of the population after the deadline.

Some bloggers on social networking sites that are queried by calling for protests to bring down Maliki’s government, which calls supported by the coalition led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi’s main rivals for the owners.

Demonstrations and incidents in Iraq is the largest since 2003, comes as he prepares to end the U.S. military presence in the supposed date – according to a security agreement – that is the end of this year.
