Member of the Economic Committee: Iraq needs to amend the companies act to encourage foreign companies to invest

Baghdad (newsletter). Member of the parliamentary economy Committee, Hussein almerapi, Iraq a fertile environment for investment and trade, but it lacks the commercial facilities that allows companies to invest in it so it needs to amend the companies act.

Said almerapi (News Agency): that Iraq so far has not the Customs Tariff Act although most States open to Iraq and trying to build trade and economic relations.

He said: it must be adjusted in accordance with the companies act sound far from any Iraqi by parochial interests among non-character and be imported from any other country, adding that companies operating in Iraq suffer from wasting time delays due to bureaucratic procedures and lack of facilities.

The proposed amendment raised trade companies after the upsurge in foreign trade after it faced routine procedures
