Iraq Ministry of Planning confirms that the Iraqi economy growth rate of about 9%

Planning Ministry announced that “the rate of growth of the Iraqi economy is about 9%,” while economists pointed out that “economic growth came as an inevitable result of the increase in oil production in the country.”

The agent said the ministry Mahdi Keywords that “economic growth figures that have been released recently and audited by international organizations is correct, based on indicators and accurate figures and not descriptive or speculative.”

For his part, attributed the economic expert Hilal Tahan reason for the high rate of growth in gross domestic product to “increase oil production, which rose significantly, especially in the past two years, as Iraq is a country that unilateral yield depends largely on oil to finance its budget public.”
