He called the economy and Investment Committee member MP/Abdul Al-Abbas sheyaa, the Central Bank to speed up the implementation of the project of linking the local banks with a unified communications network to facilitate financial transactions and to create environment for investment and development in the country.

Said sheyaa (News Agency): the planned Central Bank and link the local banks with a unified communications network operated by the international company will contribute to the development of the banking system.

He added that Iraqi banks and local branches are still lags behind developments in global banks through the use of information technology in modern banking transactions which have a major role in speeding up the completion of financial transactions for banks.

He noted that this project be implemented will create an investment environment and development for the country, because it will bring international companies to invest in various sectors, they are looking for a sophisticated banking system in the environment in which they invest to ensure their preservation.

The Central Bank announced its intention to implement the project of linking the local banks with a unified communications network operated by the international company to facilitate banking transactions and control the work of banks in the country
