Baghdad (newsletter). Oil and Energy Committee, warned of the increasing differences between the Federal and provincial governments for the Kurdistan region and the provinces regarding the oil as a result of the absence of the oil and gas law.
Committee member Rep. mutashar Samurai (News Agency): the oil and gas Act defines the powers between the Federal and provincial governments and ensure justice welaibkhs the right of any of its natural wealth.
He added that the absence of this law would exacerbate differences between the Kurdish region and local governments of oil-producing provinces with the Federal Government, noting that his Committee made a great effort in the past to pass the oil and gas law but some blocks refused and blocked the pass.
The differences between the Kurdish region and the Centre for oil exploration and extraction still exists there, making mutual accusations between officials of the Federal Government’s file and the territorial Government.
