Baghdad announced that the U.S. Embassy in Iraq, on Monday, the conclusion of the visit of the officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development in Iraq and see the projects carried out in Iraq, in the areas of primary health care, and job creation, and support for the elections, and administrative reform.

He said the embassy in a statement obtained by “tomorrow Press” on a copy of “all of the Associate Administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development and the Acting Assistant Director, Ms. Alina Romanoski They on 4 December to visit them to Iraq, which lasted two days, Mr. Mark Vairstin and Ms. Romanoski visit various projects adopted by the Agency which include primary health care project, and the project job creation, known simply as “opportunities”, and a draft electoral support, and project management reform “thread.”

The statement added that “They visitors are anxious guests to discuss the functioning and development of the work in these projects with its implementing partners, and the holding of meetings and discussions with the Iraqi authorities benefiting from these projects.”

He Vairstin during his meetings, according to the statement, “It is a pleasure to see a clear impact of the programs the United States Agency for International Development on individuals and communities Iraqi starting from the support provided to accommodate more than two thousand jobs and through open employment opportunities and assist in raising the organizational and management capacities of the Government of Iraq and to improve the level of services provided to citizens and reduce the time it takes to process the registration of companies. ”

He added that “the success of the Iraq and our partnership with him is very important for the U.S. Agency for International Development. For this reason, it has made Iraq the first point for me in my journey international since I took office assistant manager.”

He also met Vairstin and Romanoski in Erbil, “the Prime Minister Barzani of the Kurdistan region and held talk with him about the activities of the projects, the United States Agency for International Development list in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, in addition to the assistance provided by the Kurdistan Regional Government to the Syrian refugees in Iraq.”

The statement pointed out that “the staff of the United States Agency for International Development at the Consulate General in Erbil have allowed visitors on a tour of the guests inside the refugee camp Keorgwski and talk to the staff of the United Nations and the Kurdistan Regional Government concerned maintenance work and run the camp.”

The mission confirmed the United States in Iraq, as well as the United States Agency for International Development, said in the statement, “their commitment to the promotion of economic development and diversification in Iraq and strengthen the institutions of the Iraqi government and raise their capabilities in order to provide the necessary services for Iraqi citizens in line with the Strategic Framework Agreement signed between the United States and Iraq.”
