Hamidi: we do not reach an agreement on oil and gas law and will be deported to the next session

Confirmed by the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Fatima Hamidi said that “its not reach agreement on oil and gas law and will be deported to the next session.

She said Hamidi {Euphrates} Saturday that “the political blocs have not agreed on the enactment of the oil and gas, which is one of the important laws is therefore not guilty of the Oil and Energy Committee, but the guilt of the blocks that have not agreed upon from the beginning,” noting that “the law will be deported back to the next session because he did only a few months left to the end of the session of the House of Representatives. Oil parliamentary: Iraq needs oil refineries and the 12 refinery in the country does not fill the need

Baghdad (AIN) -Deputy chief of the parliament Oil & Energy Committee, Ali al-Fayadh, called to expedite ratification of the Oil & Gas Law before the end of the current parliament term.

The Oil & Gas law is one of the pending issues especially between the central government and Kurdistan Regional government where this law regulates the running of the oil resources and administration of its revenues and the contracting with foreign companies. (more…)

ERBIL, Aug.12 (AKnews)- A ten-member committee of Iraqi MPs will work on the three proposed oil and gas bills sent to the Council of Representatives to work out one unified bill out of the three, coordinator for oil and gas committee said.

The first oil and gas bill introduced in 2007 was suspended due to lack of political consensus. A second one has been proposed by the oil and gas committee and the third one by deputy prime minister for energy affairs, Hussein Shahrestani in 2011. (more…)

A member of the Oil and Gas Committee in parliament Dhari Ali Fayad, Iraq was moving closer to full membership in the International Initiative for transparency in the extractive industries after completing the requirements.

He said the Oil Ministry has implemented the requirements of the international initiative for transparency by announcing all the vocabulary and the requirements of full membership of the organization through the issuance of monthly data of all quantities of oil exports and the amounts realized from them, in addition to high transparency in the competition for licensing rounds.

Declared a member of the Committee on Oil and Energy Committee that Susan Saad, will host Wednesday’s oil minister and his agent for liquidation and distribution general manager to discuss the application of the investment law for the liquidation of crude oil and ways to support the private sector.

MP called on the mass of the Virtue Susan Saad, the House of Representatives to approve oil and gas law as soon as possible to stop what it called oil investment contracts illegal.

Sout Al Basra confirmed adviser in the Iraqi government that the government will create a national oil company over the next year.

The chancellor said the Iraqi government Hehani Ahmed in a press statement, the Iraqi government is determined to end the problems on the approval of a law referring to the development of the national oil company to adopt the work of monitoring the performance of foreign companies that won licenses in the rounds of the period.

Hehani said that the oil ministry and the national oil company will be working between the two complement and not cross-cutting measures will be laid down according to Iraqi law.

He noted that the draft law of oil and gas to be provided by the government to the House of Representatives, will confirm the lack of the intersection of law with the introduction of the national oil company.

BAGHDAD – The MP for the National Alliance, Susan Saad, said the Commission on oil and energy in the parliamentary phase of the completion of the review of contracts for tours the first, second and third licenses to foreign companies to keep holding company Shell, which signed the letters with the first.

Baghdad (NINA) – The Energy Committee, headed by Deputy Prime Miister, Hussein al-Shehristani, approved the amendment endorsed on the draft Oil and Gas Law prepared by the Ministry of Oil.

A statement issued on Wednesday, July 13, by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office said, “The meeting was attended by ministers of Oil, Electricity, Science and Technology, Water Resources and Provinces’ Affairs.

It added that, “The Amendments have been referred to the Council of Ministers.”

Baghdad, July 8 – The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Friday to postpone the government’s Energy Commission to submit a draft law of oil and gas of the Council of Ministers next week.

The director of the Office Faisal Abdullah, told the news agency that “the Energy Commission government, headed by Deputy Prime Minister (Hussein al-Shahristani) has postponed a meeting of the Committee that was scheduled to take place in order to end the draft law of oil and gas because of the visit of the Iranian delegation economic to Iraq” .

Baghdad, July 4 (Aknews) – An official at the Oil and Energy Parliamentary Commission stated Monday that the commission decided to grant the national oil company the authority to oversee the oil resources and oil projects.

Furat al-Sharei told AKnews that the Commission decided to give the powers to the company to manage the oil resources after the Oil Ministry.

Baghdad, July 4 (Rn) – The decision of the Commission on oil and energy that the Iraqi parliamentary committee decided on Monday, the national oil company granted authority to oversee the oil resources and oil projects Altfeselh follow-up after the oil ministry in accordance with law regulating its work.

Said Furat al-Shara told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that “the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary decided to adopt the legislation directs the formation of the national oil company and give it the powers of management of oil resources after the Ministry of Oil.”

Committee called for the parliamentary oil and energy, on Saturday, the Oil Ministry to be informed on the details of licensing rounds contracts concluded by the Ministry with foreign oil companies, also called the Oil Ministry and the introduction of its observations on the law of oil and gas to make the necessary adjustments.

A member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Furat al-Shara said in an interview for (twilight) “We demand that the Oil Ministry to brief us on all contracts concluded with foreign oil companies in licensing rounds,” adding that “the Commission on oil and energy on these contracts, and was the Oil Ministry to consult us before its conclusion. ”

Baghdad, July 1 (Rn) – The Energy Commission in the Iraqi Council of Ministers chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister Hussein Shahristani said Friday that it received the amended version of the draft law of oil and gas and is studying it in preparation for submission to the Cabinet and then sent to the House of Representatives.

The oil imports about 95% of Iraq’s budget, but so far nothing in the law regulating the affairs of the country despite the conclusion of many of the energy contracts with international companies to develop Iraqi oil fields.
